Modification — ETCS installation

The Dorsale central workshop located at the Salzinnes (Namur) site is able to carry out modifications and improvements to locomotives.

More specifically, the Dorsale central workshop in Salzinnes specialises in the installation of ETCS systems on locomotives and railcars.

There is also a specialist industrialisation team and methodology team in the workshop to support the production teams. These teams can handle the discussions with the system provider and/or integrator to ensure the modification instructions are clearly translated into working instructions. These multi-disciplinary teams will be in charge of monitoring the project from the prototype phase right through to the end of the modification chain of the entire fleet in question.
