Stages of the qualification process
Each qualification system follows a scheme based on the following:
- Application via [email protected]
- General and system-specific questionnaires
- The candidate supplier responds
- SNCB evaluates
- Provisional qualification may be granted at this stage - Audit, if applicable
- Sometimes audits of other railway operators may be accepted via Cross Acceptance Audits (CAA) - Test on samples and/or series, trial period, if applicable
- Acceptance or refusal of Full Qualification, generally for 6 years
