A walk in the making

The rail journey first of all starts by travelling to your departure point, then you can enjoy your walk in green surroundings and at the end of your walk, you take the train back home. Unlike ramblers, who travel by car, you are not obliged to return to your departure point, instead you can opt for an even longer walk.

The walks are designed so that a train arrives at your departure point at least hourly, including at weekends. At the end of the walk, there will be somewhere to quench your thirst or have something to eat. Green Stops often provide a short and long route option.

Brochures are available for each walk with a route plan and information about accessibility by train.
