Students aged 18 and over need a school attestation to travel with a Student Multi. This school attestation is valid for one year, after which one needs a new school attestation to renew the Student Multi.
The end date of your validation may not exceed the end date of your Student Multi by more than 1 month. The validation period of your validation ticket can start on any date before your 26th birthday.

Practical info
To buy your first Student Multi, go to the counter with :
- your electronic ID card
- € 5 processing fee
- your school certificate if you are 18+
Online:
To renew a Student Multi subscription, make sure you do so no later than 10 days before your travel date.Example: if your Student Multi ends on the 17th of the month, renew it at the latest on the 8th so that you can travel on the 18th.
- Log into your My SNCB/NMBS account (or create an account)
- Choose the season ticket option, which you would like to renew and renew it!
- You will receive the validation ticket by post within 10 days
In station:
- At the ticket office
- At the ticket machines
