Two major airports
Brussels-Airport Zaventem and Brussels South Charleroi Airport, the two most well-known airports in Belgium are easy to access by train.
The airport station located closest to Brussels is Brussels Airport - Zaventem (not to be confused with the town of Zaventem), as well as the Brussels South Charleroi Airport, which is 1h30 from the capital.

When departing from Brussels Airport Zaventem station, you can travel to:
- Antwerp-Central in 30 minutes (up to 4 trains / hour)
- Brussels city centre via Bruxelles-Central in 20 minutes (up to 8 trains / hour)
- Bruges and Ghent in 60 and 55 minutes (up to 3 trains / hour)
- Liège in 50 minutes (up to 2 trains / hour)
Brussels National Airport - Zaventem
Travel by train to or from Brussels Capital City's principal airportThe station at Brussels-Airport Zaventem is underground. When your flight arrives, simply go down two levels to reach the railway platforms. There is a supplement to pay on your ticket for this airport.
Brussels South Charleroi Airport
Travel by rail to or from Charleroi Airport in Southern BelgiumThe station closest to Brussels South Charleroi Airport is a 20-minute bus ride from the airport. Upon arrival, find your way to the TEC bus stops and take a bus heading for the Charleroi-Central station (bus journey time = 20 minutes). You can buy a combined bus and train ticket for all your destinations in Belgium to and from this airport.
