Workshop activities
The new Kinkempois traction workshop established in 2018 has cutting-edge infrastructure and equipment well adapted to the new double-decker rolling stock and older rolling stock. This workshop has been designed to be able to accommodate long sections of rolling stock allowing fast and effective maintenance on the entire train. This new maintenance concept makes it possible to carry out maintenance work on a roll-on-roll-off basis.
The Kinkempois traction workshop also works on the maintenance of electric locomotives and diesel locomotives. Its ideal location close to a freight corridor and close to Germany is an additional benefit, which allows it to work on the rolling stock of third-party companies.
The objective of the workshop is to seek to maximise the availability of rolling stock and customer satisfaction.
