Workshop activities

Mechelen central workshop is responsible for long-term maintenance, modernisation, adaptation and repair work on various types of rolling stock for passenger transport. It also engages in the repair of rolling stock wheelsets. Lastly, Mechelen central workshop works on managing stock, storage and distribution of spare parts for all SNCB units.
