Subsidiaries and participating interests
In order to better fulfil its various missions and thus play a decisive role in the field of mobility, the SNCB has various subsidiaries and holdings.

Subsidiaries
- benerail: benerail is a joint venture of the SNCB and the NS with the aim of joint development for the sale and distribution of tickets for international trains and high-speed trains. More information.
- Train World: Train World vzw is a non-profit organisation that supports the SNCB by providing services and advice for the management and operation of the National Railway Museum: Train World. More information.
- YPTO: As a subsidiary of the SNCB, YPTO provides IT services to the railway operator. More information.
Main participations
- Belgian Mobility Card: Belgian Mobility Card, the company formed by STIB, SNCB, De Lijn and SRWT (TEC), is responsible for managing the MOBIB system. More information.
- HR Rail: HR Rail is responsible for the recruitment and management of personnel on behalf of SNCB and Infrabel. More information.
- Eurostar Group: Eurostar Group is a holding company under Belgian law of two rail passenger transport companies, Eurostar and Thalys. Founded in April 2022, it is the result of the Green Speed project to bring these two companies together. The company is owned by the former shareholders of Eurostar and Thalys: SNCF Voyageurs (55.75%), the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (19.31%), the SNCB (18.5%), and the investment fund Federated Hermes Infrastructure (6.44%).
