Don't worry, it happens to everyone.

There are 2 scenarios depending on the type of season ticket:

1. You are travelling using a Standard Season Ticket, Student Season Ticket, Unlimited Season Ticket, Brupass Season Ticket, City Pass, Unlimited Travel or a discount card/valid ticket document (Journalist Ticket, Blind or Partially Sighted discount card, Free Carer Card, Large Families Ticket for a child under the age of 12, National Recognition Status Card or Police Card):

  • The conductor will draw up a statement of irregularity for you (fee of € 90). You must then report to a ticket office of your choice within 14 calendar days (including the date of travel) together with your season ticket/valid document as of the date of travel and with your statement of irregularity. This will be cancelled and so the € 90 fee will no longer be payable. You can also contact Customer Service via the online contact form. Please mention your regularization number, as well as the subscription / MoBIB card number and the route.

2. You have your a Half-Time Season Ticket, Student Multi, 10 same journey Card, Youth Holidays, Standard Multi, Youth Multi or Railease forgotten:

  • We strongly advise you to buy your ticket before boarding the train, as your ticket will cost € 9 more (contactless electronic payment only) . This ticket is non-transferable and non-refundable. Avoid fines and travel with a valid ticket.
  • If you do not buy the ticket at the 'On-board ticket price' (for whatever reason), the conductor will draw up a statement of irregularity for you (fee of € 90).
Go to the ticket office and can apply for a duplicate of your validation or a duplicate of the main card and validation, except for Half-Time Abonnement and Student Multi.
